Xuan House Architecture – West-facing House
When taking on the Xuan House design project, besides meeting the aesthetic needs of the building, we also had to address two urgent issues: the house facing west and the front facing an apartment building.
The biggest drawback of west-facing houses is the prolonged heat from noon to late afternoon, especially with the intense summer weather in the Central region. That’s why we have come up with a solution to regulate the temperature for the building, specifically by creating “two layers” for the house.
The outer shell both shapes and provides privacy for the house while reducing direct sunlight into the walls. Inside, there is a row of trees that help regulate the air and filter dust. Additionally, from top to bottom, there is a system iron structures that ensures protection from the sunlight, ventilation, a cool and airy atmosphere for the house.
